Spainsh Property Purchase Extra Costs

  1. Lawyers Fees - speak to your lawyer to arrange his/her fees.
  2. Notary Fees - about 1% of the purchase price, plus 16% IVA.
  3. Notary Fees - normally between 300.00€ to 900.00€.
  4. Registry Fees - approximately 40% of the notary fees.
  5. Bank Fees - arrangement fees around 1% to 1.5%, depending on the amount of your mortgage.
  6. IVA - if you are buying a new property, 7% IVA is to be added. Check that your estate agent has not already added this in when you are told the price of the property, or you could have a shock when totalling your final calculations.
  7. Estate Agent - ask your agent to add all the calculations for you. This will give you a better idea of the total purchase price of your property.
